So many causes and so many people at every level in need. BUT …. and there must be a but for making a hierarchy for those needs.

We need to care for those who cannot care for themselves - that’s a priority, that’s human
kindness.

At the Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled we have a bus to transport our children but it has not had a functioning lift for 5 years!

This has meant that for 5 years on a daily basis staff have to lift children in and out of the
bus. Or, for those who are able, the children have to crawl on their hands and knees to enter
the bus! Truly shocking.

A lift makes all the difference in the world because the children could then go back and forth with their wheelchairs in comfort which they cannot now do.

There must be someone out there who thinks this as deplorable as we do and is willing to donate the payment for repair or replacement of the hydraulic lift.
